Acid and water brash

Acid and water brash describe the sensation of water or acidic stomach contents coming up from the back of the throat into the mouth where they cause an awareness of liquid which may taste acidic or bitter in nature. Usually these symptoms reflect gastro-oesophageal reflux disease.

He has been a Consultant Gastroenterologist since 2005 and currently has a number of additional voluntary roles on top of his NHS work.
